On July 16, Sadong Middle School in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province, held a special training session in the library and audiovisual room, attended by around 40 parents, to strengthen their capabilities in supporting their children's education.

Sadong Middle School in Gyeongsan Holds 'High School Admissions and Credit System' Training, Parent Satisfaction Rises Principal Seungyeon Lee of Sadong Middle School in Gyeongsan held a special training session in the audiovisual room to strengthen parental education capabilities.

This training session was the first of its kind planned by Sadong Middle School, with a focus on helping parents set learning directions for their children and providing practical information necessary for making informed career choices in a rapidly changing educational environment.

The session began with the 'A Warm Line, Reading Together in Siullim' program, which was designed to help parents convey warmth to their children.


Held in the library, this program deepened emotional bonds between parents and children, highlighted the importance of communication, and provided an opportunity to learn about effective conversation methods.

After the 'Siullim Classroom,' lectures were held to enhance parents' understanding of high school admissions procedures and the high school credit system, topics of great interest to the attendees.


First, the third-grade head teacher provided a detailed explanation of major changes in the high school admissions process, strategies for managing grades during the summer vacation, and approaches to career selection, addressing parents' questions in the process.

Next, SiHyun Sung, a teacher with many years of experience in college admissions guidance, gave a presentation on the operation of the high school credit system and the changing college admission system, under the theme 'The High School Credit System and the Changing College Admission System for a Wise High School Life.'


This parent training session was organized to provide practical information and clear explanations, aiming to help parents more effectively plan for their children's high school life and college preparation.


One parent who attended the session said, "I only had a vague understanding of the high school admissions process and the high school credit system, but through this training, I was able to obtain concrete information. It was a valuable opportunity to gain a clearer direction for my child's career choices."


Principal Seungyeon Lee of Sadong Middle School said, "We will continue to strengthen communication with parents and operate a variety of programs to support students' career and academic development, doing our utmost to help our students realize their dreams."
