Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has opened its in-house library, 'Well of Wisdom'.
On July 16, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation announced that it held an opening ceremony for the in-house library 'Well of Wisdom' at the GCGF Lounge on the 3rd floor of its headquarters in Gwanggyo, Suwon.
'Well of Wisdom' houses a total of approximately 1,300 books, including 1,000 volumes donated by employees and 300 books provided by Biz&Book, a company that offers in-house library management services. The library operates as an unmanned rental-type library.
In particular, it is registered as a library participating in the Gyeonggi-do 'Reading Points Program', allowing any Gyeonggi resident to freely visit and read books. In addition, foundation employees and staff of resident companies are eligible to borrow books.

The Reading Points Program is a reading encouragement initiative operated by Gyeonggi-do. When participants certify reading activities such as purchasing books or borrowing from libraries, points are accumulated. Depending on the accumulated points, up to 60,000 won per year (up to 30,000 won in the second half of 2025) is provided as local currency.
As part of the opening event, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will operate a special in-house library week under the theme 'Saem, Muldeulda!' until July 31.
During this period, foundation employees and staff of resident companies who borrow books will have a chance to receive recommended books through a drawing. In addition, foundation employees will be given calligraphy bookmarks as a separate gift.
Si Seokjung, Chairman of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, stated, "The in-house library 'Well of Wisdom' will be a space where all employees can share wisdom and grow together, as well as an open platform connecting Gyeonggi residents with knowledge. The foundation will continue to make consistent efforts to ensure that communication and learning through books naturally become part of everyday life."
