MBTI-Certified Team Launches CharacterCode with 16 Unique Mood Types

The AI-based image analysis platform "CharacterCode," which automatically classifies facial moods and tendencies, announced its official launch on July 11.

This platform provides a total of 16 unique personality types based on just a few photos, using four criteria: attractiveness, mood, style, and vibe. Its key feature is that it then recommends matching hairstyles, makeup techniques, and clothing styles tailored to each user's profile.

The platform’s analysis is subdivided into four axes: brightness (Day/Night), energy (Resonant/Expressive), attractiveness direction (Feminine/Masculine preference), and style (Classic/Trendy). It covers a wide range from the "lively daytime" mood to the "subtle nighttime" ambiance, from "calm resonance" to "vibrant expressiveness," from soft attractiveness to strong impressions, and from traditional formal looks to bold and unique fashion choices.

Depending on the combination of these factors, users receive practical style solutions tailored to their type, such as "the cut line and curls fit your facial contours perfectly," "glossy makeup that enhances your skin tone," and "outerwear or color combinations that match your mood."

A key strength of this platform is its application of facial proportion aesthetics from Dr. Pitanguy’s research, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Head and Body, to AI analysis. It also incorporates in-depth interviews with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and image coordinators to develop realistic and precise survey questions. This combination of AI analysis, expert consultation, and academic-based questionnaires has already earned the platform a reputation in the market as a "reliable style recommendation tool."

A member of the platform’s operations team stated, "Initially, we are focusing on recommending personalized hairstyles, makeup, and clothing styles," and added, "Since users are responding that even a simple hairstyle change can transform their mood and boost their confidence, we plan to evolve beyond simple testing and become a true personal stylist that offers perfectly tailored style suggestions."

Meanwhile, CharacterCode clarified that MBTI is a registered trademark of the Myers & Briggs Foundation. While the platform’s team includes MBTI-certified professionals, it is not officially affiliated with or licensed by the foundation.
