Gijang County, Busan Begins 'Land Characteristics Survey' for Second Half Individual Official Land Price Assessment

Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on July 14 that it has officially begun a land characteristics survey as of July 1 for the assessment of individual official land prices for the second half of the year.


This survey will be conducted until July 25 and targets 919 parcels of land that have undergone changes such as division, merger, or land category modification between January 1 and June 30 of this year.


The survey items include physical characteristics such as current land use, topography and terrain, and road frontage conditions. It also incorporates administrative data such as cadastral records, forest land registers, permit and approval documents, and land use plan confirmations. Field surveys will be conducted in parallel to enhance accuracy.


The county will compare and analyze the survey results with the officially announced standard land prices set by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and will apply price multipliers based on the land price adjustment table to determine individual land values. The assessed land prices will be verified by certified appraisers, and from September 1 to 22, opinions from landowners and interested parties will be collected.


The final official announcement will be made on October 30 after deliberation by the Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee.


Jung Jongbok, Governor of Gijang County, stated, "Since individual official land prices are closely related to the property rights of county residents, we will enhance administrative credibility through an objective and fair survey."
