On the evening of July 9, Gwangju Mayor Kang Gijung attended a VIP screening of the animated film "Dinoman: The Secret of Dinosaur Mountain" at Megabox Gwangju Sangmu with public officials' families and others, watching the film together with children. The event was attended by about 150 people, including Mayor Kang, officials and staff from Gwangju Metropolitan City and the Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, as well as families of public officials. "Dinoman: The Secret of Dinosaur Mountain" is a time-travel adventure animation set against the backdrop of Mudeungsan, telling the story of the young dinosaur hero team "Dinoman Rescue Squad," born on Mudeungsan, as they fight space villains to protect endangered animals. Mayor Kang stated, "This is an excellent work supported by Gwangju Metropolitan City and created by a local content company, now being presented to audiences nationwide. I hope this film will nurture joyful dreams for children," adding, "We will continue to actively support Gwangju's role as a core hub of the cultural industry as an Asian culture center city."
