The Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation (Special Zone Foundation) announced on July 10 that it had received the "Service AI Leader Award" at the "AI Application Service Best Practices Contest" organized by the Korea Standards Association.
The Service AI Leader Award is given to organizations and companies in the public and private sectors that have led service innovation by utilizing AI.

The Korea Standards Association held the contest under the slogan "GREAT SERVICE for you, with AI" to discover and recognize outstanding examples of AI services. This year, six organizations, companies, and groups were named as awardees: the Special Zone Foundation, Dong-gu District of Gwangju, Korean Air, V-Dream, KT, and KT cs.
The Special Zone Foundation was recognized for its development and operation of an internal regulations and manual search system utilizing a large language model (LLM), a psychological counseling chatbot based on public data, and an AI-based art psychological diagnostic tool, all of which contributed to improved work efficiency and employee satisfaction. As a result, the foundation received the Service AI Leader Award.
Jung Heekwon, Chairman of the Special Zone Foundation, stated, "Winning the Service AI Leader Award is the result of being recognized for improving work efficiency and organizational satisfaction by applying AI to internal administration." He added, "The Special Zone Foundation will continue to discover and spread intelligent administrative service models that can be tangibly experienced throughout the organization's operations."
