On the afternoon of July 7, Hwaseong City established a TF to push forward the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon project and officially launched full-scale operations. The TF, led by Second Vice Mayor Seungmoon Cho, is organized into one headquarters, three teams, and 29 units. A total of 16 departments are participating, including the Welfare Policy Division, General Administrative Inspector, Administrative Support Division, and Information and Communication Division.
The TF reviewed preparatory measures to minimize inconvenience for citizens and ensure that applications for the consumption coupon, starting on the 21st, proceed smoothly. In addition, the TF shared practical response manuals for various scenarios, such as on-site and online applications. The team also focused on discussions regarding workforce allocation to reduce confusion at civil service counters, system checks, and promotional strategies.
Through the formation of this TF, the city plans to concentrate administrative resources so that the consumption coupon program can lead to increased sales for local small businesses and stimulate consumption.
Hwaseong City Mayor Jeong Myeonggeun stated, "The launch of this TF is a proactive measure for local economic recovery," and added, "All departments will work together organically to ensure not only a smooth application process but also tangible economic recovery."
