BNK Busan Bank Tops KS-SQI for 4 Consecutive Years... 'Result of Trust' Built Through Regional Coexistence Management

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) ranked first for the fourth consecutive year in the regional bank category of the 2025 Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI). This achievement is seen not only as a demonstration of service competitiveness but also as the result of trust built together with the local community.

Last year, Busan Bank invested 14.6% of its net profit in social contribution, recording the highest level of social contribution among all regional banks in Korea. According to the Korea Federation of Banks, the total amount spent on social contribution activities throughout 2024 reached 59.9 billion KRW.

Busan Bank has provided 74.4% of its total SME loans to the local region and, as the leading financial institution in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam area, continues to offer practical, field-oriented support such as financial assistance for SMEs and small business owners, promoting youth entrepreneurship, and expanding financial access in traditional markets.

Community-focused programs are also noteworthy. Examples such as 'Play on Busan,' support for safe umbrellas, and hospital companion services are cited as social contribution initiatives that provide tangible assistance to financially underserved groups and small business owners in their daily lives.

The 'Regional Economy Hope Center,' newly established by BNK Financial Group, serves as a one-stop support hub encompassing everything from management consulting for small business owners to digital transformation. Recently, Busan Bank signed a strategic agreement with Korea Credit Data (KCD) and is accelerating efforts to strengthen small business management capabilities and support digital transformation, moving beyond simple financial assistance.
