BNK Busan Bank Donates USD 10,000 to Vietnamese Agent Orange Victim Families

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) has launched an initiative to assist Vietnamese individuals affected by Agent Orange during the Vietnam War.

On June 27, BNK Busan Bank announced that it had delivered a support fund of USD 10,000 to the Association of People Who Love Vietnam (President Jang Hoik), a non-profit organization, in Hanoi, Vietnam, to help families suffering from the effects of Agent Orange. This was announced on July 3.

This support will be used to improve the living conditions of households with severe Agent Orange victims from the Vietnam War and to provide relief supplies to vulnerable groups. The donated funds will be used for the "House of Love" construction project and for supplying daily necessities and other essential goods.

Besamo is a non-profit private organization that carries out a variety of public interest activities in Vietnam, including scholarship programs, medical volunteer work, and housing improvement projects.

Kang Seokrae, Deputy President of BNK Busan Bank's Corporate Customer Group, who attended the donation ceremony, said, "We are grateful to the members of Besamo for voluntarily engaging in support projects for Agent Orange victims, and we hope that this support will bring even a small measure of hope to the affected families."

In addition to this support, BNK Busan Bank continues to engage in various sharing activities, such as the "BNK Happy Sharing" clothing donation campaign by employees to help those affected by the earthquake in Myanmar, reaching out to communities in need.
