Chungnam Creative Economy Innovation Center to Host Nexus Contact Open Innovation Meetup Day

From Next Month, Eight Large and Mid-Sized Companies and Public Institutions Including Hyundai Engineering & Construction to Participate

On June 30, the Chungnam Creative Economy Innovation Center announced that it will host the "2025 Nexus Contact Open Innovation Meetup Day" starting next month, aiming to provide collaboration opportunities between large and mid-sized companies, public institutions, and startups.

This year's Nexus Contact Open Innovation Meetup Day will feature participation from companies and organizations that took part in last year's pilot program, including Semes, Tokyo Electron Korea, Continental Automotive Electronics, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, TYM, TYMICT, Asan City Facilities Management Corporation, and Cheonan Urban Corporation.

The Meetup Day will be held each month, beginning with Tokyo Electron Korea next month, and will focus on one or two demand companies per session. In particular, the Center plans to gradually expand practical technology exchanges and joint commercialization opportunities with startups that possess technological innovation capabilities.

Kang Heejun, Head of the Center, stated, "The 2025 Nexus Contact Open Innovation Meetup Day is establishing itself as a public-private collaboration platform that quickly connects the real technology needs of large and mid-sized companies (and public institutions) with the innovative capabilities of startups." He added, "Going forward, Chungnam Creative Economy Innovation Center will continue to serve as a reliable intermediary and innovation hub, enabling promising startups to lay the foundation for entering domestic and overseas markets through full-cycle cooperation such as PoC (Proof of Concept), joint technology development, and commercialization linkage."
