The Uijeongbu Urban Corporation Commercial District Promotion Center held the 1st Commercial District Revitalization Committee meeting on the 26th, marking the official start of its efforts to revitalize the local commercial area.

The committee consists of 16 public and private members, including the president of the Urban Corporation, experts, and merchant representatives. It is divided into three subcommittees: general operations, commercial district community, and strategic marketing. Each subcommittee discussed highly effective measures tailored to the characteristics of the region.
Going forward, the committee will continue to identify and advise on effective commercial district policies. It will focus on driving practical, on-site changes and establishing a commercial district revitalization system based on public-private cooperation.
President Kim Yongseok stated, "The launch of this committee is not just about discussion, but about creating an action-oriented consultative body that will serve as a turning point to inject new vitality into the local economy. We will continue our efforts to ensure that local small business owners can operate their businesses stably."
