SKT Adot Summarizes Meetings and Lectures... Note and Briefing Beta Released

Adot Note: From Real-Time Meeting Summaries to Organized Records
Personalized Daily Information with the "Briefing" Service
Official Launch Planned Later This Year Following Beta Release

On the 30th, SK Telecom announced that it has launched beta versions of new services, including "Note" and "Briefing," for its artificial intelligence (AI) service "Adot (A.)."


According to SK Telecom, these newly introduced Note and Briefing services are designed to be closely integrated into customers' daily lives. The company explained that, once officially released, these services will significantly enhance user convenience and maximize the personal AI experience.

The Adot Note feature allows AI to transcribe, summarize, and organize spoken content in real time during everyday situations such as meetings, lectures, or consultations. The AI can refine spoken words into natural sentences that fit the context or convert them into document formats. If unfamiliar concepts or terms arise during the session, users can also perform web searches through AI for clarification.


After the recording ends, users can select from templates such as ▲Summary ▲Meeting Minutes ▲Lecture Notes. The service then organizes the content by grouping important keywords and topics according to the chosen format. For example, if "Lecture Notes" is selected, users receive both a summary of the lecture and an organized outline that follows the flow of the lecture after recording is complete. Additionally, questions for review are generated.


Completed notes can also be shared. When the sharing feature is enabled, a link is generated and can be sent to the intended recipients. The shared note includes the note title, creation date and time, recording duration, participant information, transcription, and real-time summary, but does not include the audio file.


Users can set a password for shared notes, and the password can be changed at any time. If sharing is turned off, the link is deactivated and the note content cannot be accessed externally. Notes can be saved as PDF files along with the audio recording.


The Note service is available on both the Adot app and the PC web version. During the open beta period, users can record up to 100 minutes per session and up to 600 minutes per month.

Adot "Briefing" is an "ambient agent" service that comprehensively analyzes users' daily routines and delivers information naturally. Even without user requests, it proactively provides information by considering the situation and context. For example, at the start of the day, the Briefing service can recommend weather updates for each scheduled location or content based on the user's interests according to their daily itinerary.


SK Telecom plans to further advance the Briefing service into a more precise and personalized offering by remembering previous briefing histories as well as users' responses and feedback. The Briefing service is available to the first 20,000 Adot users on a first-come, first-served basis.


Starting today, SK Telecom has begun beta testing of the Adot Note and Briefing services, with plans to officially launch the full versions as early as later this year.


Kim Yonghun, Head of the Adot Business Division at SK Telecom, stated, "The addition of the Note and Briefing service beta versions is aimed at evolving Adot into a lifestyle AI service that delivers real value to customers' daily lives through AI technology." He added, "We will continue to provide innovative, AI-based user experiences in everyday life by leveraging voice technology and insights into customer lifestyle patterns."
