Expanding Customer Reach at a Major Transportation Hub
FG Korea, the operator of the premium burger brand Five Guys, announced on June 26 that it will open its eighth store in Korea, "Five Guys Yongsan," in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on July 25.
Five Guys Yongsan will open on the third floor of Living Park at Yongsan I'Park Mall, which is connected to Yongsan Station, a key hub for the Honam Line KTX. The store will have a total area of 413.1 square meters (approximately 125 pyeong) and 118 seats. The company expects that, thanks to its prime location with excellent transportation access, a wide range of customers, including tourists, will be able to experience the brand.
The new store will be located in "Dopamine Station," a newly renovated food and beverage (F&B) living zone at I'Park Mall, which also reopens on this day. Dopamine Station features trendy F&B content targeting the MZ Generation (Millennials and Generation Z). Five Guys expects to create synergy by being part of this diverse mix of brands.
A representative from FG Korea stated, "Five Guys Yongsan is located in an area with excellent transportation access and strong commercial competitiveness, allowing us to provide the unique Five Guys brand experience to even more customers." The representative added, "We will continue to expand our store network with strategies tailored to the characteristics of each region and customer base."
