Gwangju Science Museum Hosts Hands-On Event
Organized by Youth Advisory Council
The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 25th that it recently held the "Visiting Science Museum" event at the Jeju Folklore and Natural History Museum with great success. This event was organized as part of the National Gwangju Science Museum's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management practices, as the museum serves as a hub for science in the Honam region.
Officials from the National Gwangju Science Museum and members of the Innovation Junior Board (Youth Advisory Council) who participated in the "Visiting Science Museum" event are taking a commemorative photo.
At the event, a variety of science and cultural activities were offered, including a robot dance performance, hands-on exhibition experiences, and a solar observation program. The event was planned and operated by the Innovation Junior Board, the youth advisory council of the Gwangju Science Museum.
Director Lee Junggu stated, "We are operating the 'Visiting Science Museum' in Jeju for two weeks," and added, "We will continue to realize a science museum that works together with the local community, based on ESG management."
