The first-floor special exhibition hall and basement level 1 will remain open as usual
The National Palace Museum of Korea announced on the 25th that it will be closed from July 8 to July 27 due to renovation work on the entrance and the second-floor lobby. However, from July 8 to July 20, only the second-floor exhibition hall will be closed. The first-floor special exhibition hall, where the special exhibition "Hope Revived in Paintings" is being held, and the basement level 1 will remain open as usual. During this period, entry will be possible only from the direction of the first-floor Gogeungtturak (cafe). A museum official stated, "We plan to improve the efficiency of visitor flow by refurbishing the aging facilities in the lobby and enhancing the information services."
