Hyundai Card and Korean Air Join Hands for Art Exhibition Transport

After Launching Korea’s First Airline-Exclusive Credit Card,
Expanding Collaboration from Exhibition Logistics to Branding

Hyundai Card and Korean Air have joined forces to present world-renowned artworks more safely and efficiently.

Hyundai Card and Korean Air Join Hands for Art Exhibition Transport

On June 19, Hyundai Card announced that it has signed a mutual business agreement with Korean Air to support the air transportation of artworks for exhibitions at Hyundai Card Storage.

Through this agreement, Korean Air will transport artworks exhibited at Hyundai Card Storage, Hyundai Card's exhibition and cultural space, for one year until June next year.

Korean Air participated as the official logistics sponsor for "Hyundai Card Culture Project 29: Tom Sachs Exhibition," which Hyundai Card is currently hosting at Seoul Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).

With this agreement, Korean Air has become the first official air transport partner for the Hyundai Card Storage Art Project.

Hyundai Card explained that this collaboration is significant, considering the unique characteristics of artworks, which require precise technology throughout the entire process, including transportation, packaging, and installation.

Hyundai Card and Korean Air launched the nation's first airline-exclusive credit card in 2020. They have continued to strengthen their partnership through collaboration in exhibition logistics and transportation, and are now expanding their partnership into branding by leveraging their business capabilities.

A Hyundai Card representative stated, "We expect to present even higher-quality exhibitions based on a diverse and experimental range of overseas artworks, utilizing the world-class special cargo transport expertise of Korean Air, a mega carrier."
