Olymp Planet, an extended reality (XR) technology company, announced on June 16 that it has officially launched the virtual reality (VR) celebrity photo shoot brand 'VROOK' on the fandom platform XROMEDA.
VROOK is content that combines VR videos, artificial intelligence (AI)-generated photo shoots, and real-life photo shoots into a visually structured format based on each celebrity's style and concept. To celebrate the launch of VROOK, XROMEDA plans to operate a dedicated booth within 'MARS 2025,' hosted by Hwaseong City, at Hall C of COEX from June 18 to June 20.During the expo, nine celebrities participating in VROOK will introduce content that integrates VR and AI application technologies at the booth. The celebrities involved in VROOK include Gyewoodi, Momorina, Yang Hyewon, Kkyunyangnyang, Jung Dabyeoli, Ina, Kyuina, Trollya, and Ssovely.
An Hojun, Vice President of Olymp Planet, stated, "VROOK is a new type of content that captures the process of celebrities evolving from being mere subjects of photo shoots to becoming creators who design immersive experiences together with their fans." He added, "Through VR videos and AI photo shoots, the style and worldview of each celebrity are realized in a multidimensional way, enabling highly immersive fandom experiences."
