Soonchunhyang University Partners with Mongolian University of Science and Technology to Foster AI Medical Convergence Talent

Promise of Cooperation for Spreading Educational Models and Building an Educational Ecosystem

Soonchunhyang University announced on June 13, 2025, that it has signed an agreement with the Mongolian University of Science and Technology to foster talent in the field of AI medical convergence and other areas.

The signing ceremony was held the previous day at the main building of Soonchunhyang University, attended by President Song Byungguk, Director of International Education and Exchange Yoo Byungwook, and President Namnang Tumurpurev of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, among others.

This agreement was established to expand academic cooperation in all directions, not only through mutual exchanges between members, but also by operating research and educational programs.

Under the agreement, the two institutions have established a joint vision to cooperate in fostering global talent, spreading educational models, and building an educational ecosystem.

President Song Byungguk stated, "With this agreement as a starting point, we will lead the international spread of an innovative educational model that integrates medicine and engineering, going beyond educational cooperation, and drive a paradigm shift in global higher education."

President Namnang Tumurpurev also said, "Cooperation with Soonchunhyang University will be an important turning point for the advancement of science and technology education in Mongolia," and added, "We look forward to achieving qualitative growth in higher education in both countries through joint education and research."
