This meeting was organized to proactively respond to abnormal summer weather caused by climate change, strengthen cooperation with related agencies, and ensure the safety of students and staff.

During the meeting, participants discussed the following topics: sharing the 2025 summer season (June to August) weather outlook (based on data from the Busan Regional Meteorological Administration), introducing the emergency disaster text messaging system and individual notification system, explaining the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education's natural disaster response plan, and reviewing measures to improve disaster situation communication systems.

Yeom Jooyoung, Director of School Safety Management, stated, "Recently, extreme heavy rains and super-powerful typhoons have been occurring frequently, making practical response guidelines and organic information sharing essential. We will establish response systems that can be immediately utilized in the field and continuously strengthen comprehensive support at the Office of Education level."

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to continue thorough preparations for summer natural disasters in the future, and will work closely with schools at all levels to create an educational environment that prioritizes the lives and safety of students.
