Reflecting Teen Lifestyles on the Platform
Shinhan Card announced on June 12 that it has launched "SolPay Cheoeum," a financial platform with benefits exclusively for teenagers, and a prepaid card called "Shinhan Card Cheoeum," both firsts in the card industry.
SolPay Cheoeum reflects the financial habits of teenagers who primarily use prepaid cards and manage their finances based on their remaining balance. It displays "money spent this month" and "money left in the account," and is designed so that most financial services commonly used by teens, such as payments and transfers, can be accessed directly from the main screen.
Through a partnership with Kyobo Bookstore, users can enjoy "Teens Library," which allows them to borrow one e-book for free each month, as well as "Noonchi Game," which awards 5,000 points daily based on login time.
The "Cheoeum Prepaid Card" is equipped with T-money prepaid functionality. Teenagers aged 10 to 18 can quickly issue the card using only their mobile phone, even without a bank account.
This card is a "White Card" that provides flexible benefits based on the SolPay platform. By checking in on the application every day, participants can share a prize of 100,000 points. The points that can be earned based on card usage can increase up to four times.
