Hanjin Travel is introducing a new "North America Sports Direct Experience Tour," offering the perfect combination of sports and travel by allowing participants to watch, listen, and cheer for their favorite sports in person.
This series consists of three concept packages that allow travelers to experience world-class sporting events such as the US Open Tennis, MLB Baseball, and the Australian Open Tennis live on site. These are designed as multi-theme trips that also encompass culture, nature, and gourmet experiences, making them particularly appealing. The tours are especially attractive because travelers can choose according to their preferences and travel dates.
Hanjin Travel has been strengthening its position in the travel industry by introducing a variety of themed travel products. Against this backdrop, the company is garnering attention and raising expectations by launching new products that allow travelers to experience global sporting events firsthand.
Each of these travel packages is centered around events such as the US Open Tennis, Major League Baseball, and the Australian Open Tennis. Sports fans are offered the opportunity to experience the excitement of live matches, while also enjoying cultural and natural attractions. In addition, a basketball (NBA) tour package is scheduled to be launched in the near future.
The first package is the "US Open Tennis + Eastern US 6 Days" tour, departing on August 27. This package includes a schedule to watch the US Open, one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, live in New York. Travelers fly directly from Incheon to New York on Asiana Airlines. The package includes one Ground Pass and one Center Court ticket for either Arthur Ashe Stadium or Louis Armstrong Stadium, allowing guests to watch a total of two matches.
During the trip, participants will also enjoy a Statue of Liberty cruise, a visit to the One World Trade Center Observatory, and a tour of DUMBO, one of New York's most popular neighborhoods. This package, which combines sports and city exploration, is available for groups of four or more.
The second package is the "MLB Baseball Direct Experience + Western US 9 Days" tour, departing on September 15. This package features two games of the traditional Major League Baseball rivalry between the LA Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Field box tickets are provided, allowing participants to experience the excitement of the games up close.
In addition, the tour includes visits to major attractions in the western United States such as Hollywood, Las Vegas, Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon. Travelers fly direct between Incheon and Los Angeles on Asiana Airlines, and accommodations are in hotels rated three stars or higher for the entire trip. Early reservations receive a 500,000 KRW discount per person, and the minimum group size is four.
The third package is the "Australia Sydney·Melbourne Tour + Australian Open 6 Days," departing on January 18 next year. This package includes watching the Australian Open Tennis tournament in Melbourne and visiting major attractions in Sydney. The tennis experience includes one Ground Pass and two Center Court tickets, with free access to show courts other than Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena.
The itinerary also features the Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road, Blue Mountains Scenic World, the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, St. Mary's Cathedral, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales, among other attractions. Notably, domestic flights between Melbourne and Sydney reduce the burden of long road transfers. Special meals are also included, such as Samgyeopsal BBQ in Melbourne and a three-course sunset cruise dinner in Sydney. Travelers fly directly into Melbourne and depart from Sydney on Asiana Airlines, stay in premium hotels, and the minimum group size is six.
A Hanjin Travel representative stated, "We designed this direct experience tour for customers who want to go beyond simple sightseeing and feel the excitement and passion of live sports firsthand," adding, "We plan to sequentially introduce a global sports lineup, including NBA basketball, and Hanjin Travel will set a new standard for themed travel by offering thrilling experiences that go beyond travel itself."
