Daejeon Cultural Foundation to Hold "AI and Culture & Arts" Forum on the 17th

The Daejeon Cultural Foundation announced that it will hold a forum on the theme of "AI and Culture & Arts" at the Daejeon Jeontong Naraegwan Multipurpose Auditorium on June 17, 2025.


The forum will examine cases and prospects of AI utilization in the field of artistic creation, focusing on examples from visual arts and performing arts.


Under the moderation of Song Bokseop, a professor at Hanbat National University, presentations will be given by Lee Jinjoon, a professor at KAIST Graduate School of Culture Technology, and composer Park Dahae, followed by an open discussion with the audience.


The foundation plans to hold a second forum on July 10, 2025, where presentations and discussions will address the creative environment and policy directions for the coexistence of artificial intelligence and the arts.


Baek Chunhee, CEO of the Daejeon Cultural Foundation, stated, "Through this forum and seminar, we aim to continuously observe which policies are needed in the rapidly changing creative environment," and added, "We will spare no effort to reflect the voices from the field in our policies."
