The Daejeon city government announced that it will conduct an online vote for the "Top News of the 3rd Anniversary of the 8th Popularly Elected Daejeon Administration" from June 4 to June 13, 2025.

In this vote, citizens are invited to select three achievements that resonate with them from among 20 key accomplishments presented by the city.

The candidates for the vote include: ▲The groundbreaking of Daejeon Urban Railway Line 2 construction ▲The opening of Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark ▲The Daejeon 0 O’Clock Festival, which promoted the city's appeal ▲The popularity of the "Kkumssi Family," the Kkumdori family returning after 30 years ▲The relocation of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration to Daejeon, as well as other major issues and policies that have brought changes to daily life.

Any citizen can easily participate in the vote through the Daejeon city online platform "Daejeon Siso" website, the city hall homepage, or the city's social media channels (such as Facebook and Instagram).

The city also plans to hold an event in which 50 participants will be randomly selected to receive Onnuri gift certificates.

A Daejeon city official stated, "Over the past three years, all public officials have worked together with one heart and mind to realize Daejeon as a first-class economic city, achieving remarkable results and greatly enhancing citizens' pride. We hope that through this vote, citizens will directly select the most outstanding achievements they have experienced and actively share their opinions on city administration."
