On June 2, Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bokgyu) announced that it will hold a "cherry-picking experience event" for visitors to the Hwasun Dolmen Historic Site from June 3, the day of the vote, to June 5.

This event, which is being held for the second time following last year, will run for three days from June 3 and is open to the general public free of charge. In addition, on June 4 and June 5, there will be a special experience event specifically for children from daycare centers within Hwasun County.

There are approximately 3,300 cherry trees at the dolmen site, and the event allows participants to harvest cherries directly. It is expected to attract many family visitors.

Choi Giun, Director of the Hwasun Dolmen Project Office, said, "The Hwasun Dolmen Historic Site is a place where dolmens listed as UNESCO World Heritage coexist with natural and historical resources," and added, "We will continue to expand events where children can experience both nature and culture, making Hwasun a great place to raise children."
