This ceremony is a symbolic event marking the first step for first-year students in the Department of Aviation Service to become aviation professionals. Each student was presented with a wing, instilling pride and a sense of duty.
The wing, a symbol of flight attendants, represents the professional responsibility for customer safety and service. On this day, the new students received their personal wings and pledged to uphold their responsibility and pride as aviation professionals.
The event was attended by Department Chair Jung Heekyung, faculty members, and senior students, who delivered messages of encouragement to the new students.
Chair Jung stated, "The wing is not just a badge; it symbolizes the responsibility of a service professional," adding, "I hope the students will grow with pride."
The Department of Aviation Service at Silla University operates a field-oriented curriculum, including hands-on training, airline reservation systems (CRS), first aid, and security education. The department records high certification acquisition and employment rates every year.
