On June 2, ahead of the presidential election scheduled for June 3, the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters visited the Ajou University indoor gymnasium voting and counting station to conduct an on-site inspection.
On this day, the headquarters focused on inspecting fire prevention and emergency response readiness, including the safety management of electrical facilities within the voting and counting station, the operational status of firefighting equipment, and the securing of emergency exits.

The headquarters announced plans to maintain an emergency response system until the voting and counting process is completed, making every effort to ensure a safe election environment.
Jaebyung Kim, Head of Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, stated, "Voting is a precious right of the people and the foundation of democracy, and it must be protected safely." He added, "Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will remain vigilant until the election is over and will do its utmost to ensure the safety of the counting stations until the very end."
