To receive the scholarship, applicants must obtain the required documents from their school?including the application form, a letter of recommendation, academic records, and attendance data?and submit them by registered mail to the Korea Post Public Interest Foundation within the application period.

The results of the selection will be announced on August 18 on the Korea Post Public Interest Foundation website. The scholarship funds will be deposited into a Korea Post account in the student's name through their local post office.

The Hope Scholarship was established to support teenagers from low-income families who continue their studies despite financial difficulties. Since its inception in 2022, a total of 2,400 students have received the scholarship.

In addition to the Hope Scholarship, Korea Post is engaged in various social contribution projects, including meal support for young people preparing for independence, mentoring for children from families with disabilities, caregiving support for patients without guardians, and digital education for seniors in rural and fishing communities to bridge the digital divide.

Cho Haekeun, Head of Korea Post Headquarters, stated, "We will strengthen our public service role through the nationwide post office network so that young people can pursue their dreams with Korea Post without losing hope."
