Wanju County Startup Incubation Center Recruiting Students for 'Startup School'

Wanju County in North Jeolla Province is recruiting students for its 'Startup School' at the Startup Incubation Center, targeting local prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage founders interested in starting a business.

According to the county on June 2, this recruitment is for a hands-on program designed to help anyone interested in entrepreneurship easily implement business planning, promotion, and marketing using generative AI, based on an understanding of successful startup cases.


The training period will run for three weeks, from June 17 to July 3, with classes held every Tuesday and Thursday, twice a week. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those who attend at least five out of the total six sessions.


The curriculum includes: ▲Easy-to-understand startup support programs ▲Discovering startup items using generative AI ▲Analysis of successful startup cases and differentiation strategies ▲Writing business plans using generative AI ▲Branding and storytelling with generative AI ▲AI-based marketing to attract customers.


The application period runs until June 16, and those interested can apply by phone or email to the Wanju County Startup Incubation Center. For more details, visit the center's website or inquire by phone.


Song Mikyung, Director of Economic Policy, said, "This Startup School is designed to help prospective entrepreneurs concretize their business ideas and substantially enhance their marketing capabilities based on generative AI." She added, "By providing hands-on training that incorporates AI technology along with field experience, we expect this program to serve as an opportunity to increase both the execution power and sustainability of startups."
