Media Art, Traditional House Concerts, Busking, and Changmu-geuk Performances Gain Popularity
The city of Asan in South Chungcheong Province announced on June 2 that 100,000 people visited the 'Oeam Village Night Tour,' which took place from May 30 to June 1.
This year's night tour, themed 'Back to the Joseon,' featured eight different night tourism programs tailored to specific sub-themes.
In particular, events such as media art, traditional house concerts, busking and Changmu-geuk performances, Joseon Golden Bell, and the night market were especially popular among family visitors.
Mayor Oh Sehyun stated, "The Oeam Village Night Tour is a symbolic example that demonstrates Asan tourism's potential to become a stay-type night content," adding, "We will continue to enrich night tourism content by linking it with nearby cultural heritage sites such as Hyeonchungsa and Onyang Hot Springs."
