Automatically Save Your Favorite Festivals with "Calendar Subscription"
Korail announced on June 1 that it has launched the "Regional Festival Train Travel Calendar" service, which allows users to check and book train travel packages linked to regional festival schedules across the country all in one place.
Korail organizes and provides the schedules of major festivals nationwide by month through this service. It also introduces train travel packages tailored to each festival. Users can access all festival information and make train reservations at once via mobile.
For example, if a user selects the "Yugu Saekdong Hydrangea Garden Flower Festival" to be held in Gongju, Chungnam on June 27, they can view festival details, check related train travel packages, and make reservations immediately.
Additionally, a "calendar subscription" feature is available, allowing users to save festival schedules of interest to their personal Google Calendar and automatically receive monthly updates.
Access is available through the mobile application "Korail Talk," the Korail website, and via QR codes and links in the "Korea Train Travel" notice section on Naver Band. Korail plans to further enhance accessibility by attaching QR codes to major stations nationwide, KTX in-train magazines, and seat headrest covers by July.
Lee Minseong, Head of Customer Marketing at Korail, said, "We expect this to contribute to expanding domestic tourism demand and revitalizing the local economy."
