Gwangju University Opens 4th Faculty Art Exhibition at Hosim Art Museum

Title: Four Gracious Plants (Jinsook Kim, Chair Professor, Department of Beauty and Cosmetology, Gwangju University).

Gwangju University announced on the 30th that it opened the 4th Faculty Art Exhibition at the Hosim Art Museum starting from the 29th.

This exhibition, which runs for ten days until June 7, features the participation of 20 professors and lecturers from the College of Cultural Industries. Despite their busy schedules filled with research and teaching, the professors and lecturers have prepared and are showcasing cultural and artistic works such as design, fashion, jewelry, and sculptures, created through their continuous creative activities.

President Kim Dongjin stated, "I hope this exhibition will further nurture the dreams of our students and serve as a valuable foundation for their growth as future artists," adding, "I also expect it to serve as a guide for local residents who thirst for culture and the arts, leading them into the world of lifelong education pursued by the ivory tower."

Choi Junho, Director of the Hosim Art Museum, said, "I hope everyone who visits the exhibition will gain artistic inspiration and create a vibrant daily life," adding, "Hosim Art Museum will continue to prepare even more dynamic exhibitions as a hub for cultural and artistic communication between the university and the local community."
