The Hongju Culture and Tourism Foundation in Hongseong County, South Chungcheong Province, announced on May 30 that the Hongseong County Choir plans to deliver a message of comfort and hope to residents through its 2025 regular concert, "Life Goes On."
The regular concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on June 5 at the Grand Performance Hall of the Hongju Culture and Arts Center. The event aims to deliver a profound resonance through beautiful choral melodies to those who quietly maintain their place in a turbulent society.
The concert, themed "Life Goes On," will be divided into four parts: comfort for those who have departed, comfort for those who remain, a guest stage featuring Chanson J, and hope for all of us.
In particular, special guest Chanson J, who has been recognized on the international stage as Asia's leading chanson singer and will serve as the 2025 Edith Piaf ambassador, will deliver a moving performance.
Choi Geonhwan, CEO of the Hongju Culture and Tourism Foundation, stated, "This regular concert is intended to deliver comfort and hope through music during difficult times," and added, "We ask for your interest and support for the moving performance of the Hongseong County Choir, along with the beautiful chansons of special guest Chanson J."
