and Short-Term Training Initiatives
Chungnam Province will expand educational exchange and cooperation with South Australia.
Kim Taeheum, Governor of Chungnam Province, who is currently visiting Australia to explore overseas markets, announced on May 30 that he attended an education roundtable held in Adelaide on May 29, where he discussed ways to enhance educational cooperation.
More than 20 people attended the meeting, including Moon Sungje, President of Sunmoon University, and Jane Johnston, CEO of Study Adelaide. Sunmoon University proposed cooperation initiatives such as student exchange programs, short-term training (study tours), mutual recognition of dual degrees, and joint research projects.
Study Adelaide is an organization that attracts and supports international students, jointly operated by the South Australian state government, the University of Adelaide, and 50 other educational institutions.
Governor Kim stated, "Education is the most important form of exchange for sharing the future," and added, "I hope concrete discussions between the two institutions will lead to tangible results, and the provincial government will provide its full support."
