Final Nationwide Tour... All-Out Weekend Campaign
Public Appeal... "Lee Jaemyung Must Be Stopped"
"I Will Keep Changing and Improving, Please Give Me a Chance"
Kim Moonsoo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, began a 90-hour nonstop nationwide campaign tour on the 30th. Before setting off, Kim delivered a public appeal, apologizing that "the People Power Party has had many shortcomings," but also urging support for himself by stating, "Lee Jaemyung must be stopped in order to revive the economy."

Starting from this day until the official end of the election campaign, Kim will travel around the country for 90 hours without returning home. With only four days left until the main presidential vote, he plans to put all his efforts into the final stretch of the campaign. His intention is to recreate the experience from the 2010 Gyeonggi Province governor election, when he campaigned 400 km per day for 24 nights and 25 days and achieved a come-from-behind victory.
On this day, Kim will undertake a demanding schedule, visiting three major regions: Gapyeong, Icheon, and Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province; Chungju and Jecheon in North Chungcheong Province; and Wonju and Chuncheon in Gangwon Province. The People Power Party considers the Seoul metropolitan area, which has a large number of voters, and the Chungcheong region, known as the "barometer of public sentiment," as strategic areas.
Gangwon Province, which Kim is visiting for the first time during the campaign, is also a strategic region. Although voters in Gangwon Province account for only about 3% of the total electorate, it is classified as a "casting vote" region. In the 20th presidential election, Yoon Sukyeol, then the People Power Party candidate, won in all 18 cities and counties of Gangwon Province, helping him secure a victory over Lee Jaemyung, then the Democratic Party candidate, by a margin of 0.73 percentage points. Kim plans to continue appealing for support by touring major cities in Gangwon Province on Saturday, the 31st.
On the last weekend before the main presidential vote, he is expected to intensify his campaign efforts to achieve a "golden cross." Kim aims to consolidate conservative support in Busan and South Gyeongsang (PK), Daegu and North Gyeongsang (TK), and Gangwon, then expand his reach in Seoul, the metropolitan area, and South Chungcheong. He is also expected to sharpen his criticism by highlighting issues related to Lee Jaemyung's family.
On the morning of the 30th, at the Central Party Office in Yeouido, Seoul, Kim delivered his public appeal and sharply criticized Lee Jaemyung, saying, "It is embarrassing and a history I wish to erase that someone like this became a presidential candidate in the first place," and added, "If such a vulgar and cruel person becomes president, just imagining what he might do with power as both shield and weapon is frightening."
Kim also bowed his head and said, "I deeply reflect on and sincerely apologize for having disappointed the public." He emphasized, "I will work diligently and transform myself. I will continue to change and improve until the people say, 'This is enough.' Please give Kim Moonsoo, who will devote himself solely to the people without selfish interests, the opportunity to serve."
