The Ulju County Office Bowling Team achieved outstanding results by winning 2 gold and 2 bronze medals at the 27th Korea Corporate Bowling Federation President's Cup National Corporate Bowling Championship. The tournament was held at the Sangju World Cup Bowling Stadium in North Gyeongsang Province from May 19 to May 27, 2025.
Oh Jinwon, a member of the Ulju County Office team and a national representative, won a bronze medal in the men's singles event and then secured a gold medal in the Masters event, earning two medals in total. In addition, Park Sangjin added a bronze medal in the Masters event, further contributing to Ulju County Office's overall performance.
In the men's five-player team event, Choi Wonseok, Park Sangjin, Hwang Donguk, Jang Dongcheol, Oh Jinwon, and Jin Hyeongyu, all representing Ulju County Office, competed as a team and won the gold medal.
After defeating Gwangyang City Hall in the semifinals, Ulju County Office showcased overwhelming performance from the start in the finals, including recording five consecutive strikes against Daegu Bukgu District Office, and ultimately secured the championship.
Cho Seongyong, head coach of the Ulju County Office Bowling Team, commented, "Our athletes were able to fully demonstrate the skills they have honed through regular training at this tournament," and added, "We will build on this momentum to further raise Ulju County's profile on the national stage."
