LS is currently recruiting around 40 university student volunteers until May 31 for the 28th LS Overseas Volunteer Group, which will be dispatched for 11 days and 9 nights to Haiphong, Vietnam, and Bogor, Indonesia, where its local subsidiaries are located. University students wishing to participate can apply through the LS Group and Copion websites, and all participation costs for the overseas volunteer group will be fully covered by LS Group.

Now in its 19th year, the LS University Student Overseas Volunteer Group is LS's flagship social contribution program. To date, a total of 27 groups and more than 1,250 university students and employees have participated, working to improve educational environments and promote cultural exchange in developing countries such as Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Indonesia. The LS University Student Overseas Volunteer Group is the longest-running university student overseas volunteer dispatch program among Korean companies.

The 28th LS Overseas Volunteer Group, which will be dispatched this time, plans to conduct science classes for local students at elementary schools near the dispatch sites, where students will directly build coding robots and launch pads, as well as participate in various arts, physical education, and hygiene education activities. In particular, in Vietnam, a new program has been added in which volunteers will collaborate with local university students to provide computer education at the "LS Dream School No. 23," scheduled to be established in July. This is expected to strengthen mutual exchange and partnership. In addition, the overseas volunteer group will repair aging school facilities and present Taekwondo, K-POP, and Buchaechum (Korean fan dance) performances, engaging in a variety of volunteer and cultural exchange activities before returning to Korea on August 7.

Additionally, LS is recruiting university student mentors for the "LS Dream Science Class 21st Group," a science practice education program for 180 elementary school students in nine regions nationwide: Gumi, Donghae, Busan, Anyang, Ulsan, Incheon, Jeonju, Cheonan, and Cheongju. Applications are open through the LS Group website until June 10. Three mentors will be selected for each region, for a total of 27, and the activity period will run from July 16 to August 27.

Launched in 2013 and now in its 21st session, the "LS Dream Science Class" aims to provide children with a variety of science practice education and cultural experiences, helping to address gaps in child care and supporting the dreams of children, who are the leaders of the next generation.
