at the Korea Travel Expo in Taiwan

Chungnam Province announced that it participated in the "2025 1st Korea Travel Expo" held in Taiwan from the 23rd to the 26th, promoting the "Visit Chungnam Year."
The Korea Travel Expo was held at the Taipei World Trade Center alongside the Taiwan International Travel Fair, which is the largest tourism exhibition in Taiwan.
A total of around 100 tourism-related organizations and companies, including local governments, medical tourism companies, and travel platform companies, participated in this event.
At the expo, Korean travel content was promoted to the local Taiwanese audience through various booths, including a city tourism promotion center that provided tourism information from local governments, a themed travel center showcasing attractions, entertainment, and food, and a travel product promotion center offering travel consultations and product sales.
In addition, events such as a Korea travel buyer meeting, a Taiwan travel creator show, and the Korea-Taiwan Tourism Forum were held, providing opportunities to foster cooperation with the Taiwanese travel industry.
During the event, Chungnam Province jointly operated the "Chungcheongnam-do Integrated Promotion Center" with Gongju City, Buyeo County, the Boryeong Festival Tourism Foundation, the Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo Organizing Committee, and the Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation to promote the "2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year."
A total of eight promotional booths were operated, marking the largest participation in an overseas expo to date.
The province attracted the attention of local Taiwanese people through surprise promotions such as a quiz event featuring Taiwanese creators, an event encouraging people to follow Chungnam tourism on social media, and hands-on activities like making Baekje golden crowns.
In addition, promotional activities tailored to local demand were conducted, highlighting seasonal tourism courses such as major autumn foliage spots, as well as gastronomy, festivals, accommodations, and marine leisure activities.
An official from the province stated, "Taiwan is the country with the third largest number of tourists visiting Korea," and added, "Chungnam considers the Taiwanese market a very important base in its overseas tourism strategy, and we hope that this Korea Travel Expo in Taiwan will serve as an opportunity to widely promote Chungnam's beauty, flavors, and attractive tourism resources."
