On May 23, Hampyeong County in South Jeolla Province announced that it has prepared a health support program to help women recover physically and mentally from the fatigue of pregnancy and childbirth.

On May 21, Hampyeong County held the 'Rest for Mind and Body, Maternal and Child Health Healing Camp' at the Jeonnam Mental Health Healing Center for couples experiencing infertility, pregnant women, and new mothers. The healing camp focused on mind and body recovery and included health check-ups, traditional Korean medicine treatments (moxibustion and acupuncture), aroma massage, thermal therapy, and hair spa sessions.

The program also provided time for professional counseling, allowing participants to share empathy and comfort. This was positively received, with participants saying it helped them take care of themselves and regain confidence. In addition, the county is also promoting various pregnancy and childcare support services, such as health management for pregnant women, prenatal education classes, and baby sensory play classes.

County Governor Lee Sangik said, "I hope this became a valuable time for rest and healing both physically and mentally," and added, "We will continue to expand various pregnancy and childbirth education programs so that Hampyeong County can become an even better environment for raising children."
