[Market Focus] Hurim Robot Rises on Highlighted Partnership with Arobot Amid Nvidia 'Direct Investment Consideration'

[Market Focus] Hurim Robot Rises on Highlighted Partnership with Arobot Amid Nvidia 'Direct Investment Consideration'

Hurim Robot is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as being influenced by the news that Arobot, a leading Korean humanoid robot company, is being considered for direct investment by US-based Nvidia.

As of 9:13 a.m. on May 23, Hurim Robot was trading at 2,135 won, up 7.56% from the previous day.

According to industry sources, the previous day, Arobot announced that it had won both the "NVIDIA Award" and the "Okinawa Innovation Award" at "Innovex 2025," a startup event held as part of the "Nvidia Annual Developer Conference (GTC) 2025" taking place in Taipei, Taiwan.

Innovex is an event where startup companies in the robotics field participate and network, and awards are given to those with outstanding "innovation." At the 2025 Innovex event, 15 companies were selected as finalists based on their application materials, and 9 winners were chosen through a presentation competition in which each company showcased its innovative technology.

Among them, Arobot received the "NVIDIA Award," which is effectively the top prize. This award is presented directly by Nvidia and is given to companies that demonstrate both innovation and practicality in AI technology. With this award, there is now analysis that Arobot may be considered for direct investment by Nvidia headquarters.

As a result of winning the NVIDIA Award, Arobot has gained several benefits: membership in Nvidia's Inception Program, which supports promising technology startups, and the right to use the Inception badge; the opportunity for a one-on-one meeting with Nvidia's headquarters investment team; a recommendation to participate in the Nvidia GTC AI Conference to be held in 2026; matchmaking with venture capital (VC) judges recommended by Nvidia; and the presentation of a trophy and award certificate. Such opportunities are considered extremely rare for startups in the robotics and AI sectors.

Meanwhile, Hurim Robot signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Arobot in July last year to jointly develop AI autonomous manufacturing solutions incorporating AI humanoid robots. Through this agreement, Hurim Robot stated that it would leverage its experience and expertise in industrial robot development to collaborate on joint development and system construction.
