7-Eleven began pre-orders for SEVENTEEN's 5th full-length album through its mobile app on the 29th of last month. As user traffic surged, search volume within the app increased, and starting from Children's Day, searches for "SEVENTEEN" on the 7-Eleven app soared compared to the previous week.
7-Eleven plans to hold pop-up events on the 26th, the date of SEVENTEEN's comeback, at its Dongdaemundundun branch, Jamsilchallengestore branch, and Jongnojadong branch in Seoul. The following day, sales will begin at three regional locations: the 7th floor special event hall mini booth at Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch, Newwavedaejeondunsan branch, and Jeonjunewtown branch.
During the seven-day pop-up, a photo card giveaway event will also take place. Customers who purchase the album either online or offline can receive one of 12 exclusive 7-Eleven selfie photo cards. At offline stores, customers who purchase one of the three album versions will receive a scratch-off lottery ticket, and winners will be awarded an album signed by SEVENTEEN members.
At the Dongdaemundundun and Jamsilchallengestore branches in Seoul, a cultural experience space will be set up. Visitors will find a large photo zone featuring the members, concept photos displayed on store pillars, and various props related to the album's concept. There will also be a message zone where fans can leave messages for the members, adding to the fun of the experience.
Recently, 7-Eleven has been expanding its business into various sectors such as fashion, beauty, leisure products, parcel delivery services, and secondhand trading. The "7-Eleven K-pop Offline Pop-up Event," which began in December last year, is planned to continue in the future.
Choi Yonghun, MD of the 7-Eleven Lifestyle Service Team, stated, "7-Eleven has communicated with K-artists and held seven pop-up events so far, providing customers with fresh and enjoyable experiences. We will continue to offer customers who visit our stores more diverse and differentiated experiences in the future."
