Soongsil University to Host "2025 Single Cell and Spatial Omics Korea" Symposium

Soongsil University announced on May 23 that it will host the "2025 Single Cell and Spatial Omics Korea - IBS Joint Symposium."

The symposium, which will take place at the Hankyungjik Memorial Hall from June 23 to 28, will consist of two main sessions, both conducted in English.

First, the "3rd Single Cell and Spatial Omics Korea Meeting," to be held from June 23 to 25, will cover the latest research achievements in single cell and spatial omics technologies, which are advanced techniques for precisely analyzing the structure and function of tissues at the cellular level.

Following this, the "2025 IBS-Synrgy Session," scheduled from June 25 to 28, will provide a platform for next-generation researchers in cutting-edge life sciences fields such as genome editing, stem cell biology, and cell therapy to share their research outcomes and foster collaboration.

Leading scholars from around the world will participate in the event. Notable domestic and international researchers, including Nir Yosef, Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, and Jingyi Jessica Li, Professor at UCLA in the United States, will present their latest findings.

The "IBS-Synrgy Session" will also feature special lectures by Hans Clevers, Professor at the Hubrecht Institute in the Netherlands; Toshiro Sato, Professor at Keio University in Japan; and Le Cong, Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine in the United States.

The organizers stated, "This symposium will be a meaningful opportunity to share the latest research achievements in life sciences and to build a collaborative network among domestic and international researchers."
