On the 20th, Ansan City announced that it had launched "Clean Child (I)," an anti-corruption and integrity council composed of representatives from each department, at the main conference room of City Hall. The city explained that "I" carries multiple meanings, including "Integrity," "Interface," and "I" as in oneself.

The launch of the council is part of the city's "2025 Ansan City Integrity Improvement Comprehensive Plan" and aims to expand practical integrity activities. The city has set a goal of making Ansan a model of integrity by strengthening publicity for the normalization of integrity, improving vulnerable areas to corruption through communicative integrity, and spreading a culture of integrity among citizens. The ultimate goal is to achieve the highest grade of comprehensive integrity this year.

At the inaugural meeting, one integrity leader from each department was selected to form a working group tasked with enhancing organizational integrity and spreading a culture of integrity throughout the local community. The meeting also included the announcement of key integrity improvement plans, guidance on departmental integrity activities using the "Integrity Bingo Board," a special lecture to strengthen communication between departments, and the collection of opinions on integrity policies.

The city plans to conduct regular meetings, workshops, and activities such as Integrity Bingo, to monitor the implementation of practical tasks and to establish an interdepartmental collaboration network for integrity policies.

Lee Minguen, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "Only when every employee takes the initiative to practice integrity in daily life can we further solidify Ansan as a trusted and clean city," adding, "We will continue to establish a transparent and fair administrative culture that earns the trust of our citizens."
