Enhancing Employees' Integrity Awareness Through Integrity-Themed Events
On May 20, the Economic Transportation Division of Jinhae District, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, operated the 'Integrity Reboot Day' to enhance the integrity and kindness mindset of public officials and to establish a trustworthy organizational culture.
'Integrity Reboot Day' is held once every month as a day for all employees to participate in practicing integrity. Each month, a themed story related to integrity is selected, aiming to foster awareness of integrity in daily life beyond formal campaigns.
The theme for May was "I am also an Integrity Editor: Including Five Promises in the Integrity Letter." Employees created and shared integrity letters reflecting their own commitments. They also reaffirmed their determination for integrity by reciting slogans created together. In addition, ahead of the 21st presidential election, the division shared the announcement of an "Integrity Advisory" to promote an atmosphere of integrity within the public sector.
Through this Integrity Reboot Day, employees were reminded once again of the importance of practicing integrity and were encouraged to translate this awareness into specific, actionable behaviors in their daily work.
Kwon Nanyeong, head of the Economic Transportation Division, stated, "Integrity is a fundamental value that supports the organization," and added, "Through such campaigns, I hope that integrity will not remain a mere rule but will be internalized as a language of action for each individual."
