Innovative Technologies Unveiled by 11 Daejeon Defense Companies
Including Quadrupedal Walking Unmanned Robots and AI-based Systems

Daejeon Technopark announced that it held the '2025 Defense Industry Innovative Technology and Equipment Exhibition' on the 13th at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) to promote technological cooperation between defense companies in Daejeon and weapon systems.

The event, jointly organized by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, Daejeon Technopark, and the Agency for Defense Development, was attended by more than 300 participants, including representatives from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, defense system companies, and defense research institutes.

On this day, 11 small and medium-sized enterprises from the Daejeon region showcased 13 different innovative technologies and pieces of equipment, including next-generation technologies and equipment to enhance survivability on future battlefields, AI-based manned-unmanned teaming systems, digital twins, and quadrupedal walking unmanned robots, attracting significant attention.

The Defense Industry Innovative Technology and Equipment Exhibition, first held last year by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, serves as a venue for small and medium-sized enterprises to introduce their innovative technologies and equipment and to discuss the potential for their application to weapon systems.

Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon TP, stated, "This year, we have prepared programs to enable in-depth consultations on the technologies and equipment of Daejeon companies," and added, "We will continue to work together with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, related organizations, and companies to increase the practical possibility of connecting the innovative technologies and equipment of Daejeon defense companies to military weapon systems."
