The 38th Chief Union Members Exhibition, hosted by the Changwon Chief Union and sponsored by Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, was held at Exhibition Hall 4 of Seongsan Art Hall.
The opening ceremony, which took place on May 10, was attended by Cho Myeongrae, the Second Vice Mayor of Changwon Special City, who presented commendation plaques.
The "38th Changwon Chief Union Members Exhibition" was a joint exhibition featuring 15 organizations from the Changwon area, including the Changwon Chief Association, Seokjeonghoe, and Chamdolmoim, and showcased more than 400 diverse chief artworks.
In particular, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Changwon Chief Union. The organization has worked to widely promote the aesthetics and value of chiefs and to elevate the stature of chief culture, and this exhibition added to that significance.
Second Vice Mayor Cho Myeongrae expressed his gratitude to the Changwon Chief Union and its many members for their efforts to expand the base of chief culture. He also said he hopes that many citizens visiting the exhibition will appreciate the beauty of nature and feel the artistic value through chief art.
This exhibition attracted many citizens, as it offered the opportunity to see a variety of natural artworks, including chiefs.
