"Incheon City to Recruit Participants for Couple Festival to Connect Single Men and Women"

Incheon City will begin recruiting participants for the 'i Plus EarDream' Couple Festival from May 14 to June 11 to help single men and women form healthy relationships.

i Plus EarDream is a program launched as part of Incheon's birth policy, designed to help single men and women in Incheon who wish to get married form new connections. The Couple Festival will be held five times from next month through November, targeting approximately 460 single men and women.

Eligible participants are single men and women aged 24 to 39 (born between 1986 and 2001) who are either registered residents of Incheon or currently employed at companies located in Incheon. Self-employed individuals and freelancers are also eligible to apply.

This recruitment targets participants for the first and second festivals, with 100 people to be selected for each event. Applicants may apply for both the first and second festivals. If the number of applicants exceeds the available spots, final participants will be selected by lottery and announced on June 13.

Applications can be submitted through the website of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association, via a Naver Form (QR code), or by visiting the Incheon branch of the association in person.

This year's first Couple Festival will be held on June 22 at Inspire Integrated Resort in Yeongjongdo, and the second festival will take place on July 12 at Songdo Convensia. The festival will feature expert dating coaching, one-on-one rotation conversations, a dinner party, couple games, and a wine party.

All participants will receive a 50% weekday discount on the Wolmi Sea Train, and couples who eventually get married will be offered discounted health checkups at Naeun Hospital for themselves and their families.

Mayor Yoo Jeongbok stated, "Social interaction among young people is decreasing, and more are giving up on dating and marriage," adding, "I hope many people will show interest and participate in the Couple Festival, where they can form new relationships without financial burden."
