Daejeon Daedeok-gu announced that starting from May 15, it will launch the Sintanjin-Incheon Airport Bus route connecting Sintanjin to Incheon International Airport.
The Sintanjin-Incheon Airport Bus will operate four round trips per day to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Incheon Airport, and will be available exclusively through a 100% advance reservation system via a mobile app.
The district expects that the launch of this route will not only improve transportation accessibility and enhance transportation welfare for residents, but also significantly contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
Until now, residents of northern Daejeon had to travel to the city center to reach Incheon International Airport, which caused transportation inconveniences as well as additional time and cost burdens.
District Mayor Choi Chungyu said, "The operation of the Sintanjin-Incheon Airport Bus is a precious achievement brought about by the long-standing wishes and hopes of both northern Daejeon residents and all of our Daedeok-gu community," adding, "With the launch of this new route, a foundation for more convenient and faster transportation welfare for our residents has been established."
