Fasoo announced on May 8 that it was selected as a winner in two categories at the "Global Infosec Awards 2025," hosted by Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM).
Fasoo received the Innovative Award in the "Data-Centric Security" category and the Trailblazing Award in the "Data Security Posture Management (DSPM)" category, thereby gaining global recognition for its competitiveness in data security and management.
CDM is the largest information security magazine in the United States and a partner of RSA. Each year, it announces the Infosec Awards winners in conjunction with the RSA Conference (RSAC). The Infosec Awards are determined by a panel of expert judges, including Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP), experts from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (FMDHS), and Certified Ethical Hackers (CEH).
Among the two categories Fasoo won this year, the Data-Centric Security award recognized "Fasoo Enterprise DRM (FED)," which leads the global zero trust data security market. FED is a solution that applies continuous encryption throughout the entire lifecycle of a file, from creation to disposal. It restricts viewing, editing, and printing based on preset permissions, and provides usage history and logs, enabling complete tracking and management of documents from creation to disposal. This supports not only internal data governance but also helps companies comply with global regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, and is used by major global enterprises in the energy, manufacturing, semiconductor, and financial sectors.
The DSPM category, in which Fasoo also received an award alongside Data-Centric Security, is emerging as the next-generation data management solution in response to the growing adoption of multi and hybrid cloud environments. Fasoo's multi-cloud data security posture management solution, "Fasoo DSPM," was recognized as a trailblazing DSPM solution through this award.
Fasoo DSPM enables organizations to gain a comprehensive view of the security status of data scattered across multi and hybrid clouds, respond to vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance. It automatically detects and classifies sensitive data, including unmanaged dark and shadow data and personal information, and displays compliance status with various domestic and international regulations at both the storage and data levels. The solution assesses storage security status and provides risk rankings, and its security element filters allow for the identification of vulnerabilities, enabling organizations to quickly address blind spots in data management. It can also identify and manage duplicate data, contributing to reduced cloud operating costs.
Joo Kyugon, CEO of Fasoo, stated, "By winning two categories at this year's Global Infosec Awards, Fasoo's comprehensive global capabilities have been recognized, ranging from zero trust data security to next-generation data management."
He added, "Fasoo will continue to innovate so that companies and institutions worldwide can protect sensitive data such as personal information, ensure compliance, and flexibly respond to the rapidly changing business environment driven by the spread of AI and cloud technologies."
