On April 30, he participated in the "Supporters Launch Ceremony for International Students" held at Domohon (the former official residence of the Busan Mayor), officially beginning his promotional activities.

This program is jointly organized by Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Global City Foundation. It aims to foster international students in the region as global ambassadors. Starting with the launch ceremony in April, participants will engage in a variety of activities until December, including the production of diverse online and offline promotional content, community service, and participation in international events.

An official certificate will be issued for all activities, and outstanding participants will also receive awards.

As a Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) recipient, Daewai Naing Ung has been actively involved in various on- and off-campus activities, and he is expected to approach his supporter role with a positive and passionate attitude.

In his self-introduction, he shared that he chose Busan as his study destination because he was impressed by its smart technology and eco-friendly systems. Through this program, he has attracted attention by proposing creative ideas such as sharing diverse experiences with friends, establishing an English-Korean speaking club, and planning programs focused on mental health.

These activities are expected to go beyond simple cultural exchange and serve as a platform that promotes linguistic and emotional interaction among international students.

Daewai Naing Ung, who was selected as a supporter, expressed his thoughts, saying, "I hope this supporter activity will be an opportunity for mutual understanding and shared growth, and I will do my best to widely promote Busan and Korean culture."

This selection is expected to contribute not only to branding Busan as a "city ideal for studying abroad," but also to provide international students with a valuable opportunity to strengthen their connection with the local community and develop a global perspective.
