Gwangju University announced on May 7 that President Dongjin Kim recently discussed various cooperation plans, including talent development and educational exchange, with Guozhiji Lingren Talent Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (CIZT), a subsidiary of CIIL, the largest human resources company in China.
Chairman Gang Jwa of CIZT stated, "CIZT plays a role in providing the talent needed by Chinese companies expanding into overseas markets," and proposed, "We suggest jointly operating customized talent development programs for companies in collaboration with Gwangju University, which is proactive in global exchanges." He added, "We will support not only collaboration in various fields such as faculty and academic exchanges, but also exchanges with local universities in China."
President Dongjin Kim explained, "The educational goal of Gwangju University is to cultivate practical talent required by companies and the field," and introduced, "We are committed to enhancing students' employability not only by imparting theoretical knowledge, but also through various employment programs such as field training and internships."
He continued, "We are striving to improve international students' educational satisfaction in various ways, including improving educational infrastructure, organizing curricula, and establishing management systems for international students," and said, "We will actively consider visiting China to expand our global network."
